Andres Cools, based in New York, is an Executive Director on the Cybersecurity & Resilience team at VMG Health. With over 25 years of experience, Andres serves as the service line leader accountable for developing and integrating cybersecurity and resilience services, service delivery, resources, practice domain eminence, delivery quality and client satisfaction management. Andres has developed innovative solutions to client’s most difficult challenges, assisted them in developing comprehensive strategies to elevate their security posture and presented these solutions to the Board and C-suite as well as worked directly with all levels to develop, integrate and operationalize these solutions

Prior to joining VMG Health, Andres led the Americas Healthcare Life Sciences market at IBM and led the national Security Strategy & Assessments at KPMG for 10 years. He transformed security practices and delivered work at the board and C-suite levels and all levels below. Andres has led data breach response, application security transformation, enterprise security transformation for Tier 1 financial services, big pharma, large clinical groups, hospitals and insurance companies.

Andres earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Economics at Kennesaw State University.
