Apryl McElheny is a Senior Consultant based in Pennsylvania. She focuses on assisting ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) with policy and procedure development, regulatory compliance, infection control, quality assurance, staff training, and fostering a patient safety culture.

Prior to joining VMG Health, Ms. McElheny spent 12 years in various roles, including Clinical Director/Administrator, Quality Assurance Coordinator, and Infection Preventionist, at a high-volume ophthalmic ambulatory surgery center in central Pennsylvania. Her extensive background in the ambulatory surgery center setting has equipped her with in-depth knowledge and skills.

Apryl holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Carlow University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Mount Aloysius College. She is a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC), Certified Infection Control and Prevention (CIC), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified Instructor, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified.
