Crissy Benze is a Senior Consultant based in Denver, CO. She has over 19 years of clinical nursing experience with seventeen of those years focused on outpatient surgery.  Her expertise encompasses facility documentation development, accreditation, Medicare certification, regulatory compliance, state licensure, staff training and development, and infection control and prevention. She has been a Sr. Consultant with VMG Health since 2018. Prior to her current role, Crissy worked in pre-op/PACU/OR in multiple ASCs and worked as an ASC consultant for Progressive Surgical Solutions. Her focus there was on ASC development, regulatory and accreditation compliance, quality management and operational efficiency.

Crissy is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) and American Society of Ophthalmic Registered Nurses (ASORN). She is a frequent presenter on ambulatory surgery topics at national meetings, including ASOA and Hawaiian Eye.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in leadership from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, she is a Registered Nurse (RN) and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
