Deena Greene is a Director at VMG Health within the Community Health & FQHC Optimization Practice. She specializes in FQHC medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle analysis, with deep expertise in the complex billing requirements unique to community health centers. In this role, Deena leads VMG Health’s FQHC billing team, overseeing billing operations for clients and providing hands-on guidance on complex billing scenarios including Medicare Prospective Payment System rules, FQHC-specific billing requirements, and revenue cycle performance analysis. Her team includes CPC-credentialed coding staff who support clinical documentation and coding review—giving clients access to a full billing and coding resource without building that capacity in-house.

Prior to joining VMG Health, Deena built her career at Community Link Consulting, where she developed deep expertise in FQHC billing, coding, and revenue cycle operations. She partnered with community health centers across a range of billing systems and payer environments, helping organizations navigate complex multi-payer requirements, strengthen compliance, and improve overall revenue cycle performance. Through this work, she developed a strong, client-centered approach grounded in collaboration, trust, and practical problem-solving, which continues to shape how she supports organizations today.

Deena holds certifications in medical billing and coding, including the Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist (MCBC) through Allied Business School and the Certified Community Health Billing and Coding Specialist (CH-CBS), credential through Arch Pro Coding. She has also earned her certification as a Gathering of Native American (GONA) training facilitator through Washington State University. Deena brings hands-on expertise across multiple billing systems commonly used in the FQHC environment.
