Elizabeth Monroe is a Senior Consultant and is based in South Carolina. She plays a crucial role in providing support, assessments, and assistance to ophthalmology and medical aesthetic practices. Her responsibilities include revenue cycle management assessments, operational due diligence, flow and efficiency support, practice health checks, new practice startups, provider productivity optimization, clinical SOP development, and employee compensation planning.

Before joining VMG Health, Elizabeth served as the Chief Operations Officer for a large, multi-subspecialty ophthalmology clinic in Florida for nearly eight years.

Elizabeth is a recurring customer service columnist for Ophthalmic Professional and the chairperson for the Masters in Ophthalmology practice manager program. She is a frequent contributor, speaker, and panelist for the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).

Elizabeth holds a Master of Arts (MA) from Rice University in Houston and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Florida Southern College. She is a Certified Ophthalmic Executive (COE), Certified Patient Service Specialist (CPSS), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
