Jacob Crosby is a Director at VMG Health within the Community Health Center & FQHC Optimization Practice. He specializes in financial leadership, Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting, and CFO services for Federally Qualified Health Centers and community health organizations. In this role, Jacob supports health centers with fractional and interim CFO engagements, audit preparation, grant budget development, Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, and the full range of financial management services that safety-net providers depend on to maintain compliance and fiscal sustainability. His depth in healthcare finance—combined with hands-on experience leading consulting teams—allows him to serve as both a trusted financial advisor and an operational leader for organizations navigating complex financial challenges.
Prior to joining VMG Health, Jacob began his career in manufacturing as a staff accountant, where he oversaw sales tax and compliance reporting and the general accounting month-end close process. He then joined Community Link Consulting, where he built deep expertise in FQHC financial management across audit preparation, Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, grant budget preparation, and interim CFO support. In 2025, he was promoted to Consulting Department Director, leading the consulting practice and its team of financial specialists before transitioning to VMG Health.
Jacob earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Lewis and Clark State College.
