Kelsey Anderson, MPH, is a Manager in the Strategy Consulting division at VMG Health, where she brings over a decade of experience in healthcare strategy, data analytics, and public health consulting. She specializes in delivering high-impact advisory services to hospitals and health systems nationwide, with a focus on Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs) for nonprofit health systems and Provider Needs Assessments to forecast specialty supply and demand within Stark-compliant service areas.
Prior to joining VMG Health, Kelsey contributed to a statewide public health agency, where she led multidisciplinary workgroups and served on federally funded advisory boards, steering committees, and councils. Her work supported the planning and implementation of systems of care, and she played a key role in public health program evaluation and the development of key performance indicators. Kelsey’s expertise spans advanced data visualization, geospatial analysis, and the integration of qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic decision-making. She has experience in designing and analyzing surveys, focus groups, logic models, and decision matrices. Her technical proficiency also includes data cleansing and transformation, process automation, and relational database development.
Kelsey holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Management from Texas A&M Health Science Center and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from McGill University. In recognition of her leadership and impact, Kelsey received the AMCHP Emerging Maternal and Child Health Professional Award in 2017.
