Matt Werner, based in Chicago, IL, is a Director in the Financial Due Diligence division at VMG Health. In his current role, Matt provides leadership in the execution of both buy-side and sell-side healthcare M&A engagements, contributing tangible results throughout the M&A lifecycle. In addition to financial diligence experience, Matt has a track record of success in both operational and commercial due diligence, designing market landscape assessments, developing financial forecast models, and 100-day implementation plans.

Prior to joining VMG Health, Matt held various roles at both Big 4 public accounting firms and boutique consulting organizations.

Matt holds a Master of Professional Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of IL.
