Maureen Waddle is a senior consultant and is based in California. She provides ongoing support to ophthalmology practices, with expertise in strategic and organizational planning, practice succession planning, financial benchmarking and analysis, provider contracting and shareholder compensation, practice purchase or merger, practice valuation, operational assessment, practice leadership, and market analysis.

Before her tenure with VMG Health, Maureen served as a regional vice president for a national refractive surgery center company. In that role, she provided strategic leadership and operational oversight for refractive laser centers and mobile laser clients. With over 30 years of experience in the ophthalmic industry, she has held various administrative, operational, and executive roles.

Maureen is a recurring columnist for Administrative Eyecare and Ophthalmology Management magazines. She is a frequent contributor, speaker, and panelist for the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA) and American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). Maureen is an advisory board member to the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society (OOSS) and project manager for the ASOAnalytics® benchmarking database.

Maureen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Sacramento (CSUS). Ms. Waddle is also a Certified Insights Discovery® Licensed Practitioner.
