Michael Foote is a Consultant in the Recruitment Services division and is based in California. In his current role, he is responsible for filling executive and leadership roles within private practices and MSOs. His key responsibilities include leading the Retained Executive Search Division, which specializes in placing CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CDOs, CTOs, CIOs, and administrators in leading ophthalmology, dermatology, and cosmetic surgery practices. He also identifies, develops, and coaches clients on best practices for talent acquisition, operational efficiency, and process improvement, provides full-cycle executive search, client management, and workforce planning solutions, and negotiates compensation and benefits for new hires.

Michael joined VMG Health following four years as an independent contractor with the firm, where he led executive recruitment engagements for clients. With over 13 years of experience as a senior talent acquisition leader in the healthcare and technology sectors, he brings extensive expertise to his role.

Michael has successfully placed over 100 executives in the healthcare sector. He is a prominent speaker on talent acquisition, recruitment strategies, and career coaching at ASOA, society meetings, and virtual events, and has authored various blogs and articles on these topics.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and Comparative Literature from San Diego State University, California.
