What’s your biggest healthcare business challenge?

Ross Shuster, MHM, based in Philadelphia, is a Principal in the Strategy Consulting division at VMG Health. With over eight years of healthcare experience in both consulting and provider settings, Ross specializes in strategic and business planning engagements, working with healthcare systems and community hospitals nationwide. His expertise includes market assessments, ambulatory care expansion strategies, medical staff development planning, feasibility studies for hospital remodeling and expansion, and demand forecasting for inpatient and ambulatory growth initiatives.
Before joining VMG Health, Ross served as Principal at Veralon. He was a project manager at the Temple Center for Population Health, where he aligned population health efforts across Temple University Hospital (TUH), Temple’s employed physician group, and payer stakeholders. He also worked as a project management engineer at TUH, managing operational and expense benchmarking and leading operational improvement initiatives.
Ross holds a Master of Healthcare Management degree from the Temple University Fox School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
