Sam Cooper, MBA, CVA—based in Philadelphia—is a Manager for the Valuation Advisory division at VMG Health. Sam has assisted clients in projects related to healthcare valuation, transaction consulting, and compensation for professional and administrative services for national and regional health systems, as well as private equity firms.

Prior to joining VMG Health, Sam was a Manager at Veralon. His experience includes business and asset valuation engagements for entities including ASCs, physician practices, imaging centers, MSOs, urgent care centers, health insurance, and others; fair market value physician compensation valuation for employment, independent contractor, management services, professional services, and administrative services; and fair market value compensation valuation and compensation design consulting for MSO management services and other administrative support services. Sam had significant experience in professional services business development, specialty valuation services, client relationship management, contract development, marketing, communications, and logistics.

Sam is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) through the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management from the Fox School of Business at Temple University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Wesleyan University.
