Samihah Ahmed, MHA, CVA—based in New York—is a Manager for the Valuation Advisory division at VMG Health. She advises clients in projects related to healthcare valuation, transaction consulting, financial feasibility studies for hospital and health system refinancing and expansion, and compensation evaluation for professional services. She has worked with health systems, community hospitals, academic medical centers, CINs/ACOs, and private equity firms.

Samihah’s experience includes process improvements in imaging and the implementation of Cloud-based image archiving software for a major academic medical center, as well as initiatives to reduce excessive emergency department utilization at a community hospital. She also has experience providing business valuations for various healthcare entities including ASCs, urgent care centers, physician practices, CINs, among others; transaction advisory and deal structuring; financial feasibility studies for health system expansion, including market demand and utilization analyses; and fair market valuation of professional clinical, administrative, and management services.

Samihah is a certified valuation analyst (CVA) of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. Samihah holds a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from the Sloan Program in Health Administration, Cornell University, and a BS in Biology from Union College. She is fluent in Bengali.
