Yin Lu, based in New York, is the Executive Director of Discovery & Data Management in the Cybersecurity, Risk & AI division at VMG Health. With 20 years of industry experience, he leverages his skill set and experience in legal, compliance, and forensic technology to deliver valuable insight to his clients. Yin brings extensive experience in forensic and investigative matters, including data and privacy compliance, governance, analytics, risk assessment, fraud investigations, complex litigation, bankruptcy, and monitorships. He has advised clients across diverse industries such as healthcare, technology, finance, pharmaceuticals, energy, real estate, automotive, and entertainment. 

Before joining VMG Health, Yin was a Managing Director at BDO. In addition to leading numerous consulting and project management teams, Yin has helped organizations grow nationally and globally by establishing key processes, performance metrics and corresponding reporting mechanisms. He supports clients in addressing forensic and investigative challenges through tailored solutions, expert implementation, and rigorous monitoring. He supports U.S. and global clients in litigation, investigations, business strategy, compliance, and fraud detection, including uncovering executive misconduct. Yin also develops data governance programs, processes, and training to mitigate risk and drive organizational success. 

Yin earned his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Kettering University (Formerly GMI). He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), demonstrating his expertise in identifying and addressing fraud and misconduct.
