Chris Ober, ASA, ABV, CHFP, based in Orange County, California, is a Managing Director in the Business Valuation division at VMG Health. With over 20 years of experience in business valuation and over 15 years focused primarily on healthcare, he brings the industry expertise to supplement organic growth in VMG Health’s core business. As a strong leader with proven technical and business development skills, he will support strategic expansion and foster client relationships at VMG Health.

Prior to joining VMG Health, Chris spent eight years as a Managing Director & National Healthcare Valuation Co-Leader at KPMG, where he co-led the organization’s national healthcare valuation practice with a national team of over 15 professionals. Before KPMG, Chris worked with Deloitte Advisory LLC for 12 years, leading the healthcare business valuation practice in the West region, supporting M&A due diligence, deal facilitation, and compliance and financial reporting.

Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
