Denise Parker is a Senior Manager with VMG Health within the Compensation Valuation Practice, assisting healthcare organizations with valuation and compensation matters. She focuses on providing fair market value opinions to support provider compensation agreements, professional services arrangements, and various transactions involving healthcare-related entities.  

Prior to joining VMG Health, Denise served in management roles for national consulting firms with expertise in healthcare. She brings 20 years of experience to her role, having worked with hospitals, health systems, independent medical groups, and healthcare attorneys on financial analysis, modeling, business valuations, and compensation arrangements. She has performed valuation analyses involving ambulatory surgery centers, multi-modality imaging centers, multi-specialty physician practices, physical therapy centers, rural health clinics, and unique technology platforms. Denise has partnered with hospital and health system clients to review and evaluate provider compensation arrangements, such as those encompassing clinical services, on-call coverage, medical director positions, teaching services, and other clinical leadership roles. Her experience has also included advising healthcare systems, clinically integrated networks, and physician groups in financial feasibility, due diligence, and detailed financial modeling to support decision making.  

Denise maintains a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation through the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). She has contributed to publications issued by Business Valuation Resources (BVR), American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), Becker’s Hospital Review, and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Denise graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and minors in Economics and History.
