Senior Financial Analyst

Job Summary

Due to our continued growth, VMG Health has created a new role for a Senior Financial Analyst at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analyses, developing sophisticated valuation models in Excel, performing due diligence, conducting market research, and preparing detailed reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply fundamental financial valuation principles to diverse and evolving arrangements.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to gather essential information and data, including financial statements, contractual agreements, operational reports, and other relevant documents to ensure comprehensive deliverables.
  • Innovate and problem-solve by developing new methodologies, approaches, or considerations in a dynamic industry.
  • Contribute to the authorship or co-authorship of articles and presentations on compensation arrangements.
  • Work closely with Division leadership in a cohesive, team-based environment.
  • Support the Division’s infrastructure by updating and maintaining template models and reports, performing periodic survey database analytics, and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Qualifications

  • Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a financial analyst in a business valuation firm.
    • Strong knowledge of financial theory and/or economics.
    • Financial modeling experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong knowledge of Excel and Word.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in reviewing both personal and peers’ work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present ideas in a business-friendly manner and tailor communications to diverse audiences. Proven ability to build consensus internally and externally.
  • Strong client-oriented work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills, adept at building and managing relationships with key clients to ensure successful engagements.
  • Excellent collaboration and team orientation skills, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.
