Matthew Marconcini, CPA

Manager

Matthew Marconcini is a Manager in the Financial Due Diligence division of VMG Health in the Nashville office. He provides financial due diligence, business valuation, and other transaction advisory and consulting services to clients within the healthcare services industry.

Marconcini attended the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and his MBA in Financial Analytics. He is currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Prior to joining VMG Health, Marconcini was an audit associate at KPMG Chicago working on a variety of clients in the asset management industry including large public REIT companies and private equity funds. After his time at KPMG, Marconcini worked for a startup healthcare company focusing on value-based care within the Finance and Business Development group. During his time there, he helped the firm grow from $400 million to $1.2 billion in revenues.

Grayson Terrell is a manager in the Financial Due Diligence division of VMG Health in the Nashville office, where he provides financial due diligence, business valuation, and other transaction advisory and consulting services to clients within the healthcare services industry.

Terrell attended The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Before joining VMG Health, he gained valuable experience at KPMG’s Nashville office as a part of their audit and assurance team.  Terrell is currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Tennessee.

Melissa Hoelting is a manager in the Financial Due Diligence Division of VMG Health in the Dallas office, where she provides consulting and transaction advisory services to buy-side and sell-side clients within the healthcare services industry.

Melissa received a Bachelor of Administration in Finance from the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame. Before joining VMG Health, she worked at American Airlines in International Finance and Fixed Assets Accounting. Melissa is currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Texas.

Wayne Pryor is a Managing Director in VMG Health’s Financial Due Diligence division in the Nashville office. He has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on transaction services. Pryor has worked on over 450 buy-side and sell-side transactions in every sub-sector of the industry, ranging from $1 million to $10 billion deals.

Prior to joining VMG Health, Pryor was a Partner and Head of Mazars’ Healthcare Transaction Advisory Services division and was a Managing Director in a large national accounting firm’s Transaction Services Practice where he focused on the healthcare sector. He has also held roles at a Big 4 accounting firm; was the Director of Planning, Analysis and Decision Support Systems for the Mayo Clinic and St. Luke’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida; was Corporate Controller for Sterling Healthcare Services; was Finance Director for Baptist St. Vincent’s Health System; and was Contract Administrator/Senior Financial Analyst for Cigna HealthCare.

Pryor received his bachelor’s in accounting from Western State College and attended the University of Arizona, where he pursued a master’s in public administration. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Lukas Recio is a Director in the Buy/Sell Side Due Diligence and Business Valuation Divisions of VMG Health in the Dallas office. He provides consulting, transaction advisory, and business valuation services to clients within the healthcare services industry.

Recio graduated from Texas A&M University Mays Business School where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Finance. Before joining VMG Health, he gained valuable experience at PwC’s Dallas office as a part of their Banking and Capital Markets assurance team. Recio is currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas.

Tim Spadaro is a director in the Valuation & Transaction Advisory Services Division of VMG Health in the Dallas office, where he provides financial due diligence, business valuation, and other transaction advisory and consulting services to clients within the healthcare services industry.

Tim has experience providing transaction advisory services related to mergers & acquisitions, financing, and shareholder transactions. He has served clients in many sectors of the healthcare industry including acute care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers, ground and air ambulance, physician and dental practice management, post-acute care, and other ancillary healthcare service businesses. As a consultant, his goal is to assist clients with expansion, acquisition, capital budgeting and strategic decision making.

Prior to joining VMG Health, Tim gained accounting and valuation experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Strategic Value Partners in the New York Metro area and led the valuation group at a regional accounting firm in Upstate New York. Tim attained both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) that has received the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential.

Joe Scott is a Director in the Financial Due Diligence division of VMG Health in the Nashville office. He provides financial due diligence, business valuation, and other transaction advisory and consulting services to clients within the healthcare services industry.

Scott attended the University of Florida Warrington College of Business where he earned a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Tennessee.

Before joining VMG Health, Scott gained valuable experience at Dixon Hughes Goodman’s healthcare transaction advisory services team and at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Charlotte office as a part of their financial services assurance team.
