Patrick McGinn

Manager

Patrick McGinn is a Manager in the Compensation Division at VMG Health and is based in the Nashville office. Patrick specializes in providing valuation, consulting, and advisory services for compensation arrangements. He has particular experience in arrangement for clinical services, on-call coverage, medical director and physician executive services and hospital-based coverage arrangements.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Davidson College and a Master of Science in Management from Wake Forest University. Patrick is currently pursing the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation through the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Danny Cuellar is a manager in the Real Estate Division at VMG Health and is located in the Dallas office. He has real property appraisal experience associated with the valuation of healthcare related properties.

Cuellar’s valuation experience includes determining Fair Market Value and Fair Market Rent for Stark Law compliance, financing, possible sale or purchase, allocation of purchase price, and internal planning purposes. He has valued numerous medical projects (including medical offices, physical therapy centers, acute care hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers) throughout the United States. Additionally, Cuellar has assisted with valuations of numerous office, retail, industrial, multi-family, land sites, and special use properties throughout the State of Texas.

Cuellar received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Saint Edward’s University. He is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in Texas and Iowa.

Alex Malin is a manager in the Business Valuation Services division at VMG Health and is based in the Dallas office. He specializes in providing valuation, transaction advisory, and litigation consulting services to businesses within the healthcare industry.

Malin’s experience includes providing valuation and advisory services related to professional service arrangements within the healthcare services industry such as management services and co-management, quality incentive program structure, healthcare transactions, joint ventures, financial reporting requirements, and expert witness and rebuttal analyses across a range of complex civil and criminal matters. His clients include hospitals, hospital systems, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, laboratories, physician groups, law firms, and various governmental agencies.

Malin received a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and a minor in accounting and finance. He is designated as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) through the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Quinn Murray is a manager in the VMG Health Strategic Advisory Services division and is based in the Chicago office. He has over eight years of healthcare advisory experience. Murray focuses on strategic planning, financial planning, hospital-physician partnership models, market analytics, and service line planning. Prior to joining VMG Health, he was a consultant at Health Care Futures. 

Murray has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign).

Austin Grawe is a Manager at VMG Health’s Dallas office. He specializes in reimbursement analyses and provides other analytical support to businesses within the healthcare services industry for joint venture, restructuring, and denovo business development purposes. Grawe’s experience spans numerous healthcare sub-industries and he has experience with ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, hospitals, and numerous other ancillary healthcare businesses.

Grawe received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting and Business Intelligence & Analytics from Creighton University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Jack Hawkins is a Manager in the Valuation & Transaction Advisory Services division at VMG Health and is based in the Dallas office. He specializes in providing valuation, transaction advisory, and consulting services to businesses within the healthcare services industry.

Jack has worked with a wide variety of healthcare subindustries but has become an expert in the ambulatory surgery center industry specifically. His work experience includes relative value indications for purposes of joint venture, valuations for majority acquisition, valuations for minority buy-in/out, enterprise-level valuation for purposes of corporate option calls, valuation of intangible assets such as non-compete amendments, and various client-specific consulting engagements such as market studies including data analytics and presentation.

Jack graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in accounting.

Jordan Parker is a Manager in the Capital Asset Services division and is based out of the Nashville office. He has experience providing tangible asset valuation services related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, equipment lease, and timeshare arrangements. Healthcare clients he has served include valuation engagements for hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, oncology, and physician practices.

Parker graduated from the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management in 2016. Parker is currently pursuing his Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation with the American Society of Appraisers.

Nicholas Nesbitt is a Manager in the Capital Asset Services division and is based out of the Nashville office. Nesbitt has experience providing tangible asset valuations related to financial reporting, purchase price allocation, and equipment lease and timeshare arrangements. Healthcare clients served by Nesbitt have included valuation engagements for hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, oncology, and physician practices.

Nesbitt graduated from the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Nesbitt is currently pursuing his Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation with the American Society of Appraisers.

Grayson Terrell is a manager in the Financial Due Diligence division of VMG Health in the Nashville office, where he provides financial due diligence, business valuation, and other transaction advisory and consulting services to clients within the healthcare services industry.

Terrell attended The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Before joining VMG Health, he gained valuable experience at KPMG’s Nashville office as a part of their audit and assurance team.  Terrell is currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Tennessee.

Melissa Hoelting is a manager in the Financial Due Diligence Division of VMG Health in the Dallas office, where she provides consulting and transaction advisory services to buy-side and sell-side clients within the healthcare services industry.

Melissa received a Bachelor of Administration in Finance from the Mendoza School of Business at the University of Notre Dame. Before joining VMG Health, she worked at American Airlines in International Finance and Fixed Assets Accounting. Melissa is currently a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Texas.
