Stephen H. Schulte, CVA

Director

Stephen H. Schulte is a director based in the Nashville office. He specializes in providing valuation, transaction advisory, and consulting services to the healthcare industry. He has a broad range of experience working with physician practice organizations, physical therapy centers, ambulatory surgery centers, specialty/surgical hospitals, oncology centers, and diagnostic imaging centers. Schulte also has extensive experience in physician clinical compensation arrangements. His clients include for-profit and not-for-profit health systems and other publicly owned and privately held healthcare entities.

Prior to joining VMG Health, Schulte worked in the banking industry and became Series 6 and Series 63 licensed. He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Iowa State University College of Business. He is a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). He has also completed the business valuation courses at the American Society of Appraisers and is pursuing the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation.

Patricia Li is a Senior Manager in VMG Health’s Coding, Compliance and Operational Excellence division. Prior to joining VMG Health, Li served as a multi-specialty practice manager and senior administrator in Connecticut and New York. In Li’s 12+ years of experience in healthcare administration and practice management, she has urgently transformed operational workflows, led provider credentialing processes, managed practice expansions, and overseen Electronic Medical Record implementation initiatives.

Many of Li’s clients rely on her human resources management and support, business and financial performance improvement strategies, federal and state compliance management, and provider trainings.
